Foundations of Birth

Birth Support Packages

Support during pregnancy, birth and the early postpartum period for families who want steady guidance and presence without an intensive education component. This package is designed to support you in clarifying your preferences, preparing practically for labor and feeling supported on your birth day.

You’ll be supported through intentional touchpoints during pregnancy and then continuous support during labor and birth. 

Deep Dive Birth Package

For families who want in-depth preparation and individualized education during pregnancy, along with continuous birth support. This package replaces a traditional childbirth class with one-on-one sessions focused on understanding the birth process, building confidence, practicing physical and mental tools and preparing for your specific goals.

Support is offered through multiple sessions and check-ins across pregnancy and postpartum that allow for deeper learning, hands-on practice, personalized preparation and support.

Collaborative Care Birth Package

Our most comprehensive birth experience, personally led by Holistic Family Doulas owners Errin Bald and Libby Deutsch. This intentionally limited experience is thoughtfully designed to provide personalized guidance, comprehensive education and continuous support from pregnancy through postpartum.

With a carefully curated blend of prenatal preparation, owner-led childbirth education, continuous labor support and holistic postpartum care, the Signature Birth Experience provides our highest level of individualized support every step of the way.

Cesarean Birth Support

Support for families planning a cesarean birth who want emotional preparation, informed guidance and presence before and around their birth experience.

This care offers space to talk through expectations, options and emotions ahead of time, along with calm, nurturing support the day of your birth to help ease nerves and make the experience feel more personal and grounded.

Yes. A doula remains helpful before, during and after an epidural. We support you through early labor, guide you in positions that help labor progress even while resting, offer emotional reassurance and help you navigate decisions as things unfold. With an epidural you still benefit from consistent support, advocacy and a familiar presence who understands your preferences.
Your doula is always your primary support, and situations where they are unavailable are rare. If something unexpected arises, we do everything in our power to ensure you are supported, including coordinating coverage within our agency and, when possible, having one of the owners step in. While we cannot guarantee a specific backup, you will never be left without communication, guidance or support during this process.
Birth is unpredictable, and your doula helps you navigate each change with clarity and support. We talk through new recommendations, help you process emotions and adjust your plan as needed.
